on friday we went to the capital buenos aires and to another city called la plata. we had to get up at 2:15 in the morning and went in “micro”, bus to travel, to buenos aires. these busses are sooo cool, you can change the seats into any position you wanna, they have air condition, as much free coffee as ypu want, TV and “stewards”- they acompaign journies, and work as entertainers, travel guides together. on the way to buenos aires we stopped at a restaurant, to have breakfast and went then on to the capital. at about 8 am we arrived to out first destination in buenos aires- la boca. la boca is a part of buenos aires, where almost all houses are painted very colorful and it’s sooo nice
you can enter to some of the houses, but they are very wonky but i really loooooved it
afterwards we went to the casa rosada (similiar to the white house in the USA) to see an exhibition about argentinian presidents. then we went to a restaurant to have lunch and afterwars left to la plata, our 2nd place to visit. there isn’t really sth to tell bout la plata cause it was pretty boring, we went to see a church and a museum and that was it. oh and afterwards we went to the “ciudad de los niños” (city of the children) which is like a city in kids-size, pretty cute.

munich - sao paolo - buenos aires - rosario

finally i arrived to argentina!! the journy was pretty long and contained many difficulties: cause of several traffic jams between my hometown and the airport of munich i came like 30 min or sth too late to the check in point in munich, where i was told that it wasn’t even sure if i could fly today or not cause the airline confused some booking stuff. totally dissapointed and i had to wait like to 2 h until i was finally told that everything would go well with my flight to sao paolo.
the flight was ok, i imagined it much more harder and exhausting but it was fine – at least one thing that went well on this trip. But no 5 min passed until the next problem came: the lady at munich airport didn’t check my luggage all the way to buenos aires, but just to sao paolo – which meant that i’d have to pick up my suitcase in sao paolo and check it in a second time for buenos aires. but – of course it shouldn’t be that easy. We were already in the area behind the baggage-pick up, which meant that it was impossible to pick the suitcase up myself.. so i talked to a nice brazilian lady who fixed it for me and made the suitcase being sent to buenos aires. Really really ERLEICHTERT we also managed to check in to buenos aires and afterwards we took a real brazilian coffee with a “torta de frango” (chicken cake). Afterwards i bought some brazilian coconut juice which was pretty fine. While waiting for boarding, we heard a call which told us that, due to some difficulties at buenos aires airport we had to wait 4 (!!) more hours until hour flight would start…
I really wanted to write some postcards from brazil, but unfortunatly it was impossible to find some. So the ones i promised writing a postcard, don’t be dissapointed you’ll get one or more from argentina for sure.
The flight to buenos aires was pretty cool, we saw a lot of brazilian landscape and the food on board was deliciouuuuuus.
But then – after passing the immigration thing, we went to get our suitcases, or rather wanted to get our suitcases
mine wasn’t there which means that i’ll have to wait until monday..soooo bad
but at least i’m in argentina now and i really like it
Besitos, lisa
